Lutherans for Life poster/essay Contest
Young people are encouraged to express their pro-life views through writing an essay based on a specific theme and Bible verse through creating a poster and submitting an essay.  Poster contest deadline is February 28th.  Essay deadline is April 1st.  More information download this form and/or click here.

 

Knipmeyer Seed Agricultural Scholarship
Recipient must have been accepted into an accredited two or four-year school; must major in an agricultural field; be a senior who is enrolled and will graduate from Saint Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia, Santa Fe High School, or Concordia High School.  Selection will be based upon the application.  Application due date is March 31, 2023.  For more information/application, go here.

 

Lafayette County Cancer Coalition Scholarship/Grant
Applicants must  provide documentation confirming that he/she is a cancer patient or survivor, or he/she is a child or older sibling of a current cancer patient residing in Lafayette County, Missouri.  An applicant who has had a parent/guardian or younger sibling pass due to cancer during the applicant's high school years will also be eligible.  Application can be found hereApplications should be returned to your high school counselor by March 31st.

 

Olson Scholarship

2023 West Central Electric Cooperative Electrical Distribution Systems Scholarship
West Central Electric Cooperative, Higginsville, Missouri, will accept applications from students interested in pursuing a degree in Electrical Distribution Systems at an accredited institution in Missouri, Kansas or Iowa. This program provides for students a scholarship as well as on-the-job training.  Applications must be received by April 1, 2023.  More information here.

 

Dr. Jon Schroeder Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is established in honor of Dr. Schroeder’s years of veterinary service to Concordia and the surrounding areas. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students in pursuing a higher education in the area of math or science or a career in agriculture or a related biology-based field.  Applications & requirements must be submitted on or before April 1, 2023 to the high school guidance counselor.  For more information, requirements, and application, click here.

 

Whitetails Unlimited - Davis Creed Chapter Scholarship
Recipient must be a student in Lafeyette County; accepted into an accredited 2- or 4- year college, university, technical, or trade school; cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher; selection based upon application.  Applications are due April 14th.  For more information / application go here.

 

Concordia Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
All graduating high school seniors residing in the Concordia R-II School District or attending SPLHS and residing in the local area (Advisory Board Approval), wishing to continue his/her education at a 2-year or 4-year post secondary or technical institute are eligible to apply.  Applications are due by Friday, April 14th.  Eligibility GuidelinesApplication.



Church Worker Study Grant from LWML Missouri District - Men and women who are members of a congregation located in the Missouri District and preparing for full-time church work may apply.  Application needs to be post-marked by April 15, 2023.  More information / application found here.

 

P.E.O Chapter EK Scholarship
Female high school student in Lafayette County, with a GPA of 2.5 or above at the end of seven semesters.    Applications must be submitted to the high school counselor by April 15th.  More information go here.  Application go here.
